Sunday
9:15am Holy Eucharist
At St Martin’s we expect to meet with God when we gather as God’s family on a Sunday morning. In our Communion service we meet with God through traditional and contemporary music, silence, prayer, hearing God’s word from the Bible and in sharing bread and wine around the Lord’s table together. Having been fed through God’s word, and in the bread and wine of Communion, we are then empowered and inspired in our faith to serve God’s world for the rest of the week. We love to meet new people and would be delighted to welcome visitors and new friends alike, especially over tea and coffee which is served afterwards.
Our Xplorers children’s group for 4-12s also meets during the service.
4:00pm Contemporary Service
Chuch@four includes band led worship, bible based teaching, times of prayer and response and 5 groups for children and youth. All services end with time together for tea, coffee and cake. The service attracts people of all ages including many children and young people. Aside from services, those in the community, along with others from across the parish meet in weekly small groups and serve in mission and ministry teams which range from running school assemblies to helping with refreshments and cake.
