Garden House is an architect designed, contemporary eco-cottage. It has been designed with attention to sustainable eco-credentials maximising alternative energy sources. Eco-friendly under floor heating features throughout and hot water and space heating are supplemented by solar, wind power and a ground source heat pump. The buildings themselves are highly insulated keeping them warm and at the same time cutting down on carbon emissions.

The spacious living area is is flooded with natural daylight and in the warmer months, the living room doors can all be opened to extend the living space onto the terrace. This terrace leads onto a large fenced paddock with children’s play equipment and space for them to run around in safety while mum and dad enjoy a glass of wne on the terrace. The open plan kitchen is well-equipped with diswasher, cooker, fridge freezer, microwave. There is a washing machine in the boot room. The dining table seats up to 12 (for when it is combined with Avocet next door). The cottage has a travel cot, highchair and changing mat – other baby friendly extras can be ordered in advance. The living space has 2 large sofas and is equipped with a widescreen TV, DVD player and an iPod dock.

The largest bedroom has a king sized bed, a TV and opens out on to terrace through a glazed door. There is also an ensuite bathroom with shower. the second bedroom has room for a travel cot and shares a luxury family bathroom with the twin room. The bathroom  has a walk-in shower (enclosed) and a bath.

Garden House communicates with Avocet through its entrance lobby (boot room). Together they can sleep 12 in 3 double rooms. Perfect for large family gatherings.
