SLEEPS 2 plus additional cot

This cottage is perfect for a couple or two singles for a birdwatching or cycling short break or holiday. The cottage is located near to our cycle stores and has its own private patio.

Coot offers the same standards of luxury 5 star accomodation as Avocet and Garden House but is smaller in scale for couples, grandparents or a couple with a baby in a travel cot (provided). All our cottages have achieved the Visit England Gold Award for exceptional quality of accommodation in 2015/6. These eco-properties have been designed to offer eco-friendly accommodation with luxury and comfort. It offers a super-king-sized bed (which can be unzipped to provide two singles) and a fabulous tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower. The cottage has a travel cot, high chair and changing mat. Other baby friendly extras can be booked in advance.

There is a well equipped separate kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and cooker/hob. The living room contains two sofas, armchair, widescreen TV with DVD player and music player with iPod dock. As with our other 5 star properties Coot  has a wired broadband connection as well as wifi.

These eco-barns have sustainable eco-credentials by maximising alternative energy sources. Eco-friendly under-floor heating features throughout. Hot water and space heating are supplemented by solar, wind power and a ground source heat pump. The buildings are highly insulated keeping them warm and at the same time cutting down on carbon emissions.
