Clerkenwell Penthouse

The lives of the residing couple were centered around entertaining friends versus quiet contemplation at home. The biggest practical challenge was to turn the spare bedroom into a library housing the couples collection of books and music, as well as a work space and occasional guest room. Compact well thought out city living at it’s best. Also, they wanted the interiors to feel calm and harmonious with minimal clutter and only a hint of colour. One interior journalist commented the home as ‘being deprived of the inhabitants personality’. I would argue this would be a case study of minimal interior design at it’s best.
